The Canadian actress Sarah Carter was born on 30th October, 1980 at Toronto, Canada but was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sarah was a dedicated dancer who played in various plays including The Wizard of Oz .Her role of the fictional character Dorothy is still remembered by many of her fans. Sarah being a member of Canadian debate team traveled throughout the world. After graduation, Carter visited Europe for a leisure year, post her return to Canada she joined Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto. Sarah Canter was discovered while performing a monologue in the theater.

Carter started her screen career with guest appearances on CBS’s television series Wolf Lake followed by FOX’s comedy drama series Undeclared in 2001. She also appeared on Fox’s science fiction television program Dark Angel in 2000.

Carter’s Big screen debut came in psychological thriller Mindstorm released in 2001 where she featured with star actors Eric Roberts, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Michael Ironside. Carter played the role of a senator’s kidnapped daughter whose kidnapping ultimately revealed her dark secret life. Carter also had a small role in the 2003 supernatural thriller Final Destination 2, sequel to the 2000 hit Final Destination.

Sarah played her first major TV role as Allie Bennett in action adventure drama television series Black Sash. Black Sash filmed a total of eight episodes however only six episodes were aired. Carter used her dancing skills in a few episodes; she was trained in martial arts for this series which later helped her in performing the 2006 martial arts film DOA: Dead or Alive.

Sarah Carter performed a breakthrough role in three episodes of the American television series Small Ville, the first one in Season 3 and the rest two in Season 4 of the series. Her role as Alicia Baker had the power to teleport things or people or to herself. Carter’s character had a loving relationship with character Clark Kent which is played by actor Tom Welling, her role ended during the 3rd appearance. In 2006, Carter acted in her first major film DOA: Dead or Alive as Helena Douglas who is a fighter daughter of late Fame Douglas and she competes in the DOA Tournament. Even being a great fighter, Sarah’s character is eliminated out in the quarterfinals by assassin Christie Allen. Carter’s character also had a romantic relationship with Weatherby which is portrayed by actor Steve Howey.

In 2005, Sarah Carter made a guest appearance on HBO’s popular series Entourage. Carter was the driver of the gang for Sundance film festival trip, and at the end of this episode Carter’s character had a threesome with Turtle and Drama played by Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon respectively
